Material Study: Marbles, Transparency and Lighting
Artistic Approach
I’ve always been fascinated with transparent and translucent material, in the strong direct light, where the light is cast into the shadow. For this study, I took the photo reference myself, using my daughter’s marble collection, carefully choosing different colors and the perfect sunshine of a midday of July.
